PANDIT.T.ACHUTHAN NAIR MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP

Endowment donated by Mrs&Mr.K.Peethambaran, S/o(Late) Pandit.T.Achuthan Nair, formerly teacher of Government Higher Secondary School,Chittur,Palakkad.
Sri.K.K.Vasu Nair, Retd H.M (National Award Winner) and Selection Committee member ,Smt.Indira Venugopal distributed the Endowments for Standard X and Higher Secondary Students.
                                                                                       

  ENDOWMENTS DISTRIBUTED ON 27/07/2010 AT 10AM, IN THE SCHOOL ASSEMBILY

Donor:- Sri.K.Peethambaran,

Shreyas,South City,

Bangalore.

Objective:- This Scholarship is to be awarded to two poor and deserving students of Std X(Ten) every year taking into consideration the brilliant performance in the SSLC Public Examination of the year.Merit and poverty alone should be considered for selection of winners.The first candidate selected should be given 60% of the interest amount and the second one 40% respectively.

Selection and Payment:-

The Headmaster and the Principal of the School and the Donor's Nominee,Mrs.Indira Venugopal,Devikripa,Tharakalam,Chittur are the members of the selection committee.The account of the fund will be operated jointly by the Headmaster and the Principal.

The amount of the fund deposited for the purpose is Rs100000/-(Rs one lakh only).The annual interest accrued should be given to the selected pupils in a function of students,teachers,and parents as far as possible.

Another Endowment of the same amount with the same conditions mentioned above is also donated by the same diginitaries for Higher Secondary Students.
